Brunelleschi Pass: the only pass with the dome climb

If you want the 463 steps, this is the pass. There is no “dome-only” ticket. Brunelleschi covers dome, bell tower, baptistery, museum and Santa Reparata for three calendar days.

Search volume for Brunelleschi Pass beats Giotto and Ghiberti combined because it is the only title that sells the climb. It is not a city pass. It is Opera’s combined ticket for Piazza del Duomo.

Ticket comparison

Choose Brunelleschi if the dome is non-negotiable. If slots are open but you hate tight tunnels, take Giotto: 414 steps and you photograph the dome from the tower. If you will not climb, Ghiberti at €15.

Timing is everything

Mon–Fri last dome slot 18:45; Saturday 16:30; Sunday and holidays 12:45–16:30. Book 8:15 for low light and less humidity in the gallery. Do not stack the bell tower the same afternoon: 877 steps combined.
